Our Story

Guiding Your Journey to Financial Freedom

Quint Tatro began his career as a stockbroker at the height of the dot-com boom in 2000 and quickly realized that the high-pressure world of commissioned sales was not for him. In 2001, he left the brokerage business to start a fee-only registered investment advisory firm, which now serves over 1,000 individuals and families across the United States, managing nearly $500 million in assets.

Around 2017, Quint set out to find a way to help more people who might never step into his office, creating a scalable and meaningful way to share financial guidance. That is how DIY Money was born.

Fast forward eight years, 800 episodes, and more than five million downloads, and DIY Money continues to reach thousands of listeners each week with the same goal it had from the beginning: to empower, encourage, and inspire people on their financial journey. DIY Money helps individuals improve not only their balance sheets but also their lives for generations to come.
